Drop-in session isn't enough? Reach out to the SUND DataLab to discuss your options for more support.
Drop-in Thursday
How does it work?
The SUND DataLab hosts Drop-In Thursdays every Thursday afternoon from 13:00 to 15:00 at the Center for Health Data Science. Here's how to take advantage of this resource:
- You send an email to datalab@sund.ku.dk explaining the problem you are facing, so one of our data scientists can prepare and coordinate with you
- Arrive on the drop in day agreed on with the data scientist
- Spend 15-20 minutes with the data scientist and get answers to your questions, guidance on best practices, or tips on how to improve your analysis!
- If your questions necessitate more time with the data scientist, they can discuss your options for longer term assistance
What does it cost?
Drop-in sessions are free!
However, sessions are available based on data scientist availability and are confined to short-term sessions.
Who can use Drop-In Thursdays?
SUND DataLab services can be used by SUND researchers and employees. We can also support Region H and other hospital employees in many circumstances.
Drop-In Thursdays, however, are not intended for bachelor or master students.
Things to keep in mind
The aim of a drop in session is to provide a format to address specific technical data science and bioinformatics questions on a short-term basis.
If you are interested in:
- Project supervision,
- Extended project support,
- A collaborative partnership, or
- Commissioning HeaDS to perform your project analysis,
the SUND DataLab has options! One of our data scientist can discuss setting up a formal consultation, supervision, or commission to meet your research goals.
