HeaDS Zoom-In Tuesday

In our HeaDS Zoom-In Tuesdays you can ask us questions about your specific health data science-related problems or ideas.

Computerome 2.0 Users Workshop

The one-day workshop will introduce how to work with Computerome 2.0. The course is targeted at researchers with some computational background who need to work with large datasets (mapping or assembly of sequencing data) or perform heavy computations (machine learning, deep neural networks,...).

Time: 18 February 2021 (9:00-16:00)

Place: TBA. We hope to be able to host the course in-person, but if that is not possible due to Covid-19 restrictions, the course will take place on Zoom.  

Git & GitHub Workshop

This introductory workshop is intended for researchers at SUND who are interested in learning how to share their code (R, Python, or other) and reports (R Markdown or Jupyter Notebook) with group members or external collaborators as well as editing, improving, and maintaining scripts with multiple contributors. 

Time: 1 March 2020 (9:00-16:00)

From Excel to R - March 2021

This two-day workshop is intended for all researchers at SUND, with a special focus on PhD students. We will introduce data manipulation and visualization in the programming language R. 

Time: 18 March - 19 March 2021 (09:00-16:00).

Place: Maersk Tower, Blegdamsvej 3B, 2200 København. Room TBA.

Python Tsunami - April 2021

In the Python Tsunami, we will introduce participants to the basics of programming and data analysis in Python. We welcome all researchers at SUND, including PhD students, who have no prior experience in using Python to join the course. It will run twice in spring 2021 – once in mid and then again in late April.

Time: Mid & Late April 2021. Specifics TBA.

Introduction to STRING and Cytoscape

Lars Juhl Jensen live streamed his lectures on STRING and Cytoscape for network visualization from 1 April 2020.
