A 3-day introductory course targeted towards SUND researchers with no (or very limited) experience in Python

The course will first introduce the programming language in general. We will demonstrate how to run Python from within Jupyter Notebooks via Google Colab, an enviroment that is often used for analysis and collaborative work.

An overview of the fundamental Pythonic data structures will follow and participants will learn about conditional statements, loops and functions. Lastly, the course will cover the libraries pandas and plotly express that allow for efficient data manipulation and visualization.

The outcome of the course is to provide participants with the basic skills for manipulating and setting up data for visualisation.
